Constitution and Bylaws

The Legation Boules Club is a not-for-profit organization governed by its Constitution and Bylaws. These documents establish the club's purpose, structure, and rules of operation.


Constitution

(Adopted November 10, 2014)

Article I — Name

The name of this organization shall be The Legation Boules Club.

Article II — Purpose

The purpose of The Legation Boules Club is to play, teach, demonstrate and promote the game of pétanque to its membership and to the general public through open play, tournaments and instructional programs.

Article III — Governance

The Legation Boules Club is based on the democratic application of established bylaws, membership voting and good sportsmanship of its members.
