As you know, our journey to secure a permanent space for our beloved game at the Browning Hangar has been a labor of love for over a year.
|
Your dedication and participation in the commission meetings have been invaluable in getting a recommendation sent to the City Council. Now that this step is complete, it's crucial that we ensure our voices are heard by the Austin City Council.
|
We need to encourage the PIAC Commission members to send a strong recommendation regarding the importance of keeping the Browning Hangar free and open for public use.

Please attend the PIAC Commission Meeting on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 6 PM at the Austin Energy Headquarters.

It’s important that we ask the Commission members to speak with the City Council representatives who appointed them, urging them to place our recommendation on the City Council agenda.
|
Additionally, we should send emails to all Austin City Council members across the different districts, emphasizing that keeping the Browning Hangar available is an important issue for many voters.
|
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend this week, so we need some volunteers to step up and take the lead.
