LBC & Alliance Française at the Hangar — September 19
|
Don’t forget that LBC will be joining the Alliance Française at the Hangar on Saturday, September 19, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
|
This should be a fun joint event and a great opportunity for Alliance Française and LBC members to get better acquainted. It’s also a chance to meet other members of Austin’s French and Francophile community—and, of course, introduce some new people to pétanque.
|
The Alliance Française is charging its members to cover the cost of food, but there is no charge for LBC members. We’re handling our side as a potluck, so if you plan to come, please bring some finger food to share.
|
We’ll have extra boules and circles available for Alliance Française members who would like to try the game. This is a perfect opportunity for experienced LBC players to welcome newcomers, show them the basics, and perhaps recruit a few future pétanque players.

Come out to meet, greet, play, and teach!
