UPDATE SUNDAY MORNING - The weather may be a bit questionable today, but there is no doubt people will start gathering at Nelson Ranch by 1PM to play pétanque and prepare for making crepes. We plan on having crepes and cider around 2:30PM. Hopefully, we will be able to play a few games at Nelson Ranch, but if the weather does not cooperate then it is expected that players will migrate to the hangar to play. Greetings Members—
This Sunday, February 9 at the Nelson Ranch petanque courts from 1-5 PM, The Alliance Francaise, Legation Boules Club, and Nelson Ranch PC are co-hosting our annual La Chandeleur Day crepe & cider petanque event. Casual petanque play & crepes for lunch!
The festivities officially get underway at 1 PM, but I'm sure there will be folks playing petanque before that. There is a crepe & cider break around 2:30 PM and folks are encouraged to bring some cider or crepe fillings, etc.
We hope you will come out to celebrate the first event of the 2020 season at the Nelson Ranch courts. See the attached flyer for more details.
