French Légation Update November 18, 2019

The work on the French Lêgation is progressing well. We are hoping for a completion date in June 2020.
|
The parking lot is now completed and landscape has been installed.
|
Work has started on the interior of the Légation and the Carriage House. The new stone work at the Embassy Road entrance is nearing completion. The ADA entrance to the Carriage House is really impressive, as well as the new ADA ramp at the front entrance to the Légation.

The Daughters of the Republic of Texas are making headway on their land adjacent to the French Légation. A ground breaking was held on November 15th for the History Center. The new building will cover a total of 14,000 sq. ft. and should be operational the first quarter of 2021.
