Making Progress with the Browning Hangar!
This is just a short note to say THANK YOU to everyone who turned out to support us at the Commission meeting last night!!!!

When we first heard about the hangar being closed and sold to a developer we were totally hopeless, and clueless, Deer in the Headlights!
|
Now after the big turnout of supporters last night at our second meeting with the Commission it appears we might be able to find a path to success.
|
There is so much more to talk about, and so much to do, in the coming days.
|
|
|
|
Okay. Nobody said saving the hangar would be fun!

The videos of the August 8th Commission meeting last night (to be posted soon) will show that we now have a Commission member explaining how they know that the hangar is totally unique, and historically valuable as the last one of it's kind!

The Browning Hangar truly is an historic Austin Icon - like Barton Springs, and Zilker Park and we indeed to to build enough community consensus to keep it open and free to all the people who use it!
