A Message from the Nelson Ranch Pétanque Club:

Due to the forecast of extreme heat on Sunday, the Singles tournament scheduled for June 25 has been CANCELLED.
|
I thought we would be able to squeeze in one more tourney before the heat set in for the summer, but it decided to come early this year.
|
The temperature forecast for Sunday is 103 with a heat index of 108-111.
|
Much as I love petanque, it's not worth a heat stroke. Those temps can be dangerous,
|
We will try to reschedule a Singles tournament in the fall when it “cools off”.

Thanks for your interest in participating. Sorry the weather would not cooperate…
