A Message from Kyle Walker at the French Legation :

On February 2nd the Texas Historical Commission’s Real Places conference will host their opening reception on the grounds of the French Legation from 5:30-8:00pm. Event crews will arrive onsite around noon to finish preparing for the event while living history interpreters will set up their demonstrations around the reconstructed kitchen behind the historic house. Since the event staff will need access to the Legation’s parking lot, the lot will close at 12:00pm. Members of the Legation Boules Club are welcome to play in their usual spaces that afternoon as the event will not be taking place on that portion of the grounds. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience and continued support of the French Legation State Historic Site.
