Dear reader,

Pétanque Rules Review, Saturday December 11

BlindUmpire

Meeting at 1PM at the Browning Hangar

Let's say you are in the middle of playing a game, you take a shot, and the cochonnet flies up and bounces off of Hasu's forehead (who is on the other team) and lands back down on the terrain.

What happens next?

What is the rule for cochonnets bouncing off Hasu's forehead? What if Hasu were on your team?

Was the cochonnet marked? Is Hasu's forehead now marked?

National Umpire Gary Jones has the answer!

Gary will also be able to answer any other questions you have about the rules of pétanque.

This meeting is for regular players and a special opportunity for those of you preparing to take the test to become an umpire - coming up on December 18th.

Even if you don't plan on becoming an umpire it is a good idea for you to learn all the rules of pétanque.

Special Bonus!

Here is a great additional resource that covers some of the rules and how to have good manners when you play the game.

See you there!

At the Hangar, Saturday, December 11th at 1PM

And special thanks to Gary Jones for making this possible!
