A Message from the NRPC

Howdy Members—
I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.
Nelson Ranch Petanque Club will be having a potluck Post-Thanksgiving Turkey Day Picnic this Sunday at the Nelson Ranch Courts.
|
There will be open petanque play beginning at 11 AM with a break for the meal at around 12:30. Members are encouraged to bring their favorite beverage & a side dish or dessert to share. The Club will be providing smoked turkeys, and water will be available as well.

This event is open to all NRPC club members & their families as well as all members of the Legation Boules Club & families.
|
After the meal, the board will hold a brief open meeting to announce the new board of directors for 2022 , and to explain and call for a vote on some constitutional revisions. These revisions concern the assignment of duties to different officers & changing the voting procedure to include all board positions elected together every 2 years.These tweaks will hopefully make the club run a bit smoother.
|
Also, as we wind down 2021, it's time to start thinking about the year ahead. Membership renewal is just around the corner. Vice President Kathy Ragan will be in charge of collecting dues for renewal this year, and she will be ready to start accepting renewals at the event on Sunday for those of you that want to get it out of the way.

The official renewal period is the month of January 2022, so you have time. However, be aware that there will be a $10 late fee for members who have not renewed by Jan. 31. The renewal dues for the 2022 season will remain at $25 for adults. Juniors will be $15 and associate members (those who already belong to the FPUSA) will pay $15.
|
We will also have all the necessary paperwork on hand for those who wish to join the club for the first time.
We hope you can join us for a fun day of good food, good petanque & good fellowship!
